Terms of Service

These terms explain the rules and expectations for using Axis Wellness services, including bookings, payments, cancellations, communication, confidentiality, client responsibilities, and service boundaries.

1. Agreement to these terms

These Terms of Service govern your use of the Axis Wellness website, booking process, payment flow, communications, and mental wellness support services. By visiting the website, submitting a booking form, making payment, attending a session, or continuing to use Axis Wellness services, you agree to these terms.

If you do not agree with these terms, do not book or use Axis Wellness services. If you have questions before booking, contact Axis Wellness at WorkwithLisanwala@gmail.com.

2. About Axis Wellness services

Axis Wellness provides therapeutic-informed mental wellness support through reflective conversation, emotional support, clarity work, stress management, personal reflection, and structured support.

Axis Wellness is not a therapy clinic, psychiatric service, hospital, emergency service, crisis line, or medical provider. Axis Wellness does not provide diagnosis, psychological testing, psychiatric assessment, medication, emergency intervention, or medical treatment.

3. Eligibility

  • You must be at least 18 years old to use Axis Wellness services.
  • You must provide accurate booking, contact, and payment information.
  • You must be able to participate voluntarily and make decisions about whether Axis Wellness support is appropriate for you.
  • Axis Wellness may decline, pause, or end services if your needs fall outside Axis Wellness's scope of care or if continuing would be unsafe, inappropriate, or outside professional boundaries.

4. Scope and limits of care

Axis Wellness sessions are designed for calm, reflective, structured conversation. They may support clarity, emotional awareness, self-understanding, personal growth, stress reflection, and thoughtful decision-making.

Axis Wellness services are not a substitute for licensed medical, psychiatric, psychological, legal, financial, or emergency advice. You remain responsible for seeking appropriate professional care where your situation requires it.

  • Axis Wellness does not diagnose mental health conditions.
  • Axis Wellness does not prescribe or advise on medication.
  • Axis Wellness does not provide crisis response or emergency monitoring.
  • Axis Wellness does not guarantee a particular emotional, clinical, financial, academic, professional, or relationship outcome.

5. Emergency and crisis use

Do not use the website, email, booking form, or sessions for emergencies. Axis Wellness may not see or respond to messages immediately and cannot provide urgent intervention.

If you are in immediate danger, experiencing suicidal thoughts, at risk of harming yourself or someone else, or facing a medical or mental health emergency, contact local emergency services, go to the nearest emergency department, or contact a qualified crisis professional immediately.

6. Booking and client information

  • You agree to provide complete and accurate information when booking.
  • You agree to choose the package, session length, and session format that best fits your current needs.
  • You agree to update Axis Wellness promptly if your contact information changes.
  • You understand that Axis Wellness may use your booking information to decide whether the service is appropriate for your needs.
  • You understand that incomplete, false, or misleading information may result in delay, cancellation, refusal of service, or termination of services.

7. Sessions, punctuality, and attendance

Sessions begin at the scheduled time. If you arrive late, the session may still end at the original scheduled end time, and the full fee may remain payable.

You are responsible for ensuring that you have a private, safe, and appropriate setting for your session, as well as a working internet connection, device, camera or audio access where applicable, and any platform access needed for the session.

8. Packages and monthly review

Axis Wellness may offer single sessions and monthly support packages. Package details, session length, frequency, pricing, and included support are shown on the website or booking flow at the time of booking.

Packages are reviewed monthly. Continuation is optional and may depend on availability, suitability, payment status, and mutual agreement. Package changes generally take effect at the next review period unless Axis Wellness agrees otherwise.

9. Fees, payments, and taxes

  • Fees are listed in the booking flow or communicated before payment.
  • Payment may be required before a session or package is confirmed.
  • A booking is not guaranteed until Axis Wellness has received the required payment or confirmation from the payment processor.
  • You are responsible for any bank charges, payment-provider charges, currency conversion charges, transfer fees, or taxes that apply to your payment.
  • Axis Wellness may update pricing at any time, but price changes do not affect sessions already paid for unless required by law or agreed with you.

10. Cancellations, rescheduling, and refunds

Cancellations or rescheduling requests should be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled session time. Sessions cancelled with less than 24 hours notice may be treated as used and may not be refunded or rescheduled.

If Axis Wellness needs to reschedule a session, Axis Wellness will offer a reasonable alternative time. Refunds, credits, or rescheduling options may depend on the circumstances, package type, payment status, and applicable law.

11. Technical interruptions

Axis Wellness is not responsible for interruptions caused by your device, internet connection, power supply, platform access, environment, or other issues outside Axis Wellness's reasonable control.

If a technical issue is caused by Axis Wellness or a platform failure affecting the session, Axis Wellness may offer reasonable rescheduling or continuation options. The appropriate option will depend on timing, session length, and the nature of the disruption.

12. Communication rules

  • Official communication takes place through the Axis Wellness website and official email.
  • Text messaging and informal communication channels are not used for support.
  • Email is used for administrative communication and is not suitable for urgent matters.
  • Axis Wellness may set boundaries around message frequency, content, response time, and appropriate use of administrative communication.
  • Abusive, threatening, discriminatory, harassing, sexually inappropriate, or unsafe communication may result in refusal, suspension, or termination of services.

13. Confidentiality

Axis Wellness treats session information with professional discretion and confidentiality. Axis Wellness will not intentionally share your personal information or session details with family members, employers, schools, or unrelated third parties without your permission, except where permitted or required by law or safety obligations.

Confidentiality may be limited where Axis Wellness reasonably believes there is serious risk of harm to you or another person, where disclosure is required by law, court order, lawful authority, payment dispute process, or where disclosure is necessary to protect legal rights.

14. Client responsibilities

  • You agree to participate honestly and respectfully.
  • You agree not to record sessions without prior written permission from Axis Wellness.
  • You agree not to share session links or allow another person to attend in your place without prior agreement.
  • You agree not to use Axis Wellness services for unlawful, abusive, deceptive, harassing, or exploitative purposes.
  • You agree to seek emergency, medical, psychiatric, legal, or other qualified professional support when your needs require care outside Axis Wellness's scope.
  • You remain responsible for your own decisions, actions, and wellbeing outside sessions.

15. Provider boundaries

Axis Wellness may set professional boundaries around scheduling, communication, topics, session conduct, scope of care, and continuation of services. These boundaries are part of maintaining a safe and respectful service.

Axis Wellness may refuse or end services where there is a conflict of interest, inappropriate conduct, non-payment, repeated missed sessions, safety concern, request outside scope, or other reason that makes continued service unsuitable.

16. Website content

Website content is provided for general information about Axis Wellness services. It should not be treated as medical, psychiatric, psychological, legal, financial, or emergency advice.

Axis Wellness may update, remove, or change website content, service descriptions, package details, availability, and pricing at any time.

17. Intellectual property

The Axis Wellness name, website content, copy, visual materials, service descriptions, graphics, logos, forms, and other materials are owned by Axis Wellness or used with permission, unless otherwise stated.

You may not copy, reproduce, publish, distribute, modify, sell, or use Axis Wellness materials for commercial purposes without prior written permission.

18. Third-party services and links

Axis Wellness may use or link to third-party services, including payment processors, scheduling tools, communication platforms, hosting providers, or external resources. Axis Wellness is not responsible for third-party websites, policies, outages, errors, fees, or security practices.

Your use of third-party services may be governed by their own terms and privacy policies.

19. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Axis Wellness is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including emotional distress, loss of data, loss of income, loss of opportunity, service interruption, device issues, third-party platform failures, or decisions you make before, during, or after sessions.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability where the law does not allow exclusion. Where liability cannot be excluded, Axis Wellness's liability will be limited to the amount you paid for the relevant service to the extent permitted by law.

20. Indemnity

You agree to hold Axis Wellness harmless from claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses arising from your misuse of the website or services, breach of these terms, violation of law, inaccurate information, inappropriate conduct, or infringement of another person's rights.

21. Privacy

Your use of Axis Wellness services is also governed by the Axis Wellness Privacy Policy, which explains how personal information is collected, used, stored, shared, and protected. By using Axis Wellness services, you acknowledge the Privacy Policy.

22. Changes to these terms

Axis Wellness may update these Terms of Service to reflect service changes, legal requirements, technology updates, or operational needs. The effective date will show when the current version became active. Continued use of the website or services after changes are posted means the updated terms apply.

23. Governing law and disputes

These terms are intended to be governed by applicable law in the place where Axis Wellness operates, subject to any consumer protection or privacy rights that cannot legally be waived.
